MILAN – Ballantyne has tapped Giuseppe Rossi as chief executive officer and general manager.

While the ceo title is new at the storied knitwear maker, Rossi, who started last week, succeeds Andrè Piot as general manager.

Rossi, 40, hails from Calvin Klein’s European division, where he served as ceo for the past four years.

At Ballantyne, his mission includes raising brand awareness, consolidating the firm’s European retail presence and launching pre-collections.
